Exodus Way Recovery
We are a Christ-centered group committed to recovery, restoration, and discipleship through the process of God's Word, prayer, and healthy fellowship.
Our story
Having experienced a rock bottom in our own addictions and struggles with sin, we came to understand that we could not get or stay free on our own. Yearning to be freed from the powerful bondage of our addictions, we sought help from the One who claimed to be able to give us freedom from our sins: God's Son, Jesus Christ.
After experiencing a relationship with Jesus, it was evident that He was the way of escape all along. The result of this action was not a perfect person, not a sinless mind, but rather a heart changed that has affected our desires in such a way that now we choose a life of right living over a life of sin and addiction. A life that was once dominated by self-seeking, destructive behavior has been transformed into a God-centered, healthy lifestyle, fueled by the power of God's Word, prayer, and healthy fellowship.

What We Believe
We believe that addiction to any vice is sin, plain and simple. Addiction simply means devoted to doing something. Addiction is therefore not a disease in the common sense of the word, but we instead believe that addiction causes disease in every area of our lives: mental, physical, emotional, relational, and, most importantly, spiritual.
Through the truth of God's Word, we know that Jesus died for us on the cross, defeating the power of our sin once and for all.
By trusting in Him and His will for our lives, we have discovered who we really are and who we truly can be.
We believe that because of what Jesus did for us on the cross, we are no longer slaves to sin, no longer bound by the terrible chains of our addictions, but we are now set free and have peace.
